I was so lucky to receive this ARC, as I am a huge fan of Fabric of our Souls. This is another 5 star, emotionally packed, hard-hitting read from K.M. Moronova! She brings live to the characters and isn't afraid to address those topics that society likes to hide under the rug. We are all Lanston lovers. Starting off the read with tears as we are reminded of how things ended... but moving forward on a beautiful and hauntingly emotional journey to peace. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I faced the darkness. A look into how actions can have lasting effects on a person's life and how darkness only has the power we choose to give it. In the end, love and letting go have the power to heal us all.

I will never recover from this. This is the saddest most beautiful story I’ve ever read.

I'm not crying, you're crying.

I AM DESTROYED. I AM BROKEN.

This book was so beautifully written, it genuinely calls to the romantic Pisces in me. It was so poetic, so beautiful, so ethereal just so otherworldly. This is an amazing spin off following Lanston and honestly if you’ve read The fabric of our souls. Please read this. Yes your heart will shatter at the end, but it’s just so worth it. I am so in love with this book and the cover. I can’t even look at it right now without crying. I love Lanston and Ophelia so much and I love that I got to know more about Lanston’s lore. He was one of my favourites in The fabric of our souls. I also relate to Ophelia in some ways and her story made me cry it really did. I just can’t say how much I love this book, it’s so memorable.

Honestly please read it, it’s beautiful

"A broken soul. A wandering spirit. A sad, lost thing. Now found."

This book right here is the definition of being seen, heard, healed and loved

“Death is not the end of us.”
A tragic yet beautiful and poetic tale of two souls in purgatory. This is a story of love, closure, forgiveness and healing. It captures the rawness of mental health and repercussion of toxic family relationships. I felt connected to the story and characters, and felt every emotion to my core. To me, this was pure perfection, and although I’m sad this story is over, my heart is full knowing these characters got the closure they deserved.

Sad, but so good!
