Didnt finish..... !

This book was so good! It was definitely a page turner from start to finish. There were a lot of plot twists which make a good thriller. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to read good thriller.

Really liked this one and couldn't quite figure it out. For a first novel, this is really good.

Proper pageturner

Read this in 3 sittings, keeps you guessing so much that you suspect everyone. The tagline is annoying though - anything that promises a "brilliant twist that you won't see coming" sets itself up for a fail, and the twist is underwhelming to say the least. However, the book as a while is very enjoyable. Can't wait to read The Gift.

Een verwarrend verhaal waarbij ik geen idee had wie nou wie was, en dan dat einde..

Started bit weird, jumping to and from things. Got really exciting around the middle and was really good. But then started going downwards again. Okay book, def not a 'must read' but the author has it in her, she is good at this and building up excitement and the story.

Following the death of her best friend Charlie, Grace has been a mess. When Grace starts looking for Charlie’s dad to give her some kind of closure she finds Anna, a girl claiming to be a long lost sister. But something isn’t right; things disappear, someone complained at her work and Grace thinks someone’s following her. Is someone out for Grace?

I actually really loved this book. The suspense was killing me especially how most chapters seemed to leave me on a cliffhanger making me keep reading to find out more. I think all the supporting characters played an important part in this and they were all fleshed out appropriately. I really enjoyed reading about how Dan and Grace got together when they were younger. I think the ending was written a little rushed? It felt like everything was being revealed at once which I would have preferred a gradual reveal but that’s me just being picky.

Overall, a very well written psychological thriller and I’m honestly surprised this was the author’s debut novel as it was just so good

Very good book... Lots of twists.
