They eat A LOT of bacon in this book. Also 'feet SLAP the concrete' very frequently.
Kept me reading though, I wanted to know how it turned out!

This book was so predictable I felt I could have skipped every other chapter.

I thought the story line was 'meh' - I think I was just turned off by everything being glaringly obvious except to the main character of course.

Books like this make me wish for a 1/2 star. This isn't quite a 4 star, but better than a 3 star.

Poor Grace has had to deal with the loss of her best friend for the second time. First she mysteriously left. Then she mysteriously returned just in time to die. As she begins to recover from this trauma, she starts to feel like she is being followed and her boyfriend has become distant. But, Anna, Charlie's half-sister shows us and this seems to bring Grace a sense of peace and comfort. The book is not a solid 4 as it was somewhat predictable but the quality of writing and character development make it better than a 3. I'd say it is worth your time to check it out for yourself!

This was my first Louise Jensen book and I was impressed. I liked the writing style immediately. There was no waiting to get into the book due to writing style or story line. Both drew me in from the start. I liked the characterisation also. There were twists and turns, some I saw coming, some I didn't. I was drawn in enough to stay up to finish it, rather than go to bed and come back to it. Looking forward now to reading other books by this author.

omg what a brilliant book lots of twists and turns along the way can't wait for the authors next book to come out

Absolutely cracking and riveting thriller! Hats Off to the author for writing a debut book that reads so smoothly and engages the reader from the word go.How one person's manipulations and decisions can have such repercussions across so many people's lives and at the end so many others pay for it with their lives.A brilliant concept and heartbreaking to see the different lives getting affected.

"The Sister" was a highly entertaining read and I found it to be quite addictive, too. Nevertheless, I can't really rate it any higher - in my opinion, the plot (and twist) was so predictable and I don't understand how Grace could have been so blind, naive and trusting. Her whole (back)story was a bit too dramatic for my liking and what started as a really compelling story went way over the top pretty soon. I can't shake the impression that the author tried a bit too hard to get as much drama as possible into a single book and in the end, it just felt forced to me. I still enjoyed myself reading "The Sister" and I would recommend picking it up, if you're looking for a really fast-paced mystery.

Wow ! Wow! What an absolutely fantastic psychological thriller. I honestly found it difficult to put this book down. This book had me gripped right from the first chapter. It was full of intrigue and suspense. I found it amazing that this was the authors debut novel as it was so good and felt to me like the author had written others before this one, I really can't wait for Ms Jensens next book,

My thanks to the publisher Bookouture via netgalley for the arc in return for ah honest review,
