5 stars.

I love Carlos and Alexis!!! I’ve followed them on social media and on their YouTube channel and podcast and they just seem like lovely people. I listened to this book on audiobook and Lex and Los put their whole heart in it, you can tell. It was so entertaining to hear their story. They discuss their childhoods, adolescent years, and adulthood. They talk about previous relationships, their marriage, their journey into parenthood, and their relationship with God.
They aren’t perfect - they are real. LOVED this one so much.

As true to the PenaVega style, this was a very down to earth book about their journey to & with faith. I consumed this in a single morning. Once I started I couldn’t stop. It’s just wonderful to know that we all have our struggles and own paths when it comes to our faith experience.

This was a beautiful memoir. It felt like Jesus was speaking through this couple in a way I truly needed.

I’ve been blessed in my life to have grown up with a relationship with the Lord, but I(like everyone else on this earth) am imperfect. I find myself doubting everything and asking out loud “what is the point!”. And into my life walks this book.

As I finished reading it, I had this overwhelming sense of love and peace come over me. Not many books can do that for me.

I hope this book can find its way into as many lives as possible, whether they are Christians or not. Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, family issues, or just need some light in your life.

I absolutely love Carlos and Alexa and everything they stand for. I loved the insight to their life and their relationship and how faithfully they trusted the lord. I watched they’re YouTube videos from the beginning when they bought their LA house and was a little shocked to know about all the issue they were having behind the scenes. They will always be one of my favorite Hollywood couples.

I don’t normally rate memoirs, but I loved Los and Lex’s story so much that I felt compelled to give their book a 5 star rating. Their love for Christ is evident throughout the weaving of the story of their lives. I absolutely loved and appreciated how much of their Christian journey they shared.

While they aren’t the most well known celebrities, they also have been in the spotlight, and it was refreshing to see a young couple who’s time in Hollywood had the opposite affect that it does on most people. While they had their own challenges to go through, they both found Christ and found each other.

I listened to the two of them narrate, and it was very sweet. While I’ve heard other celebrities proclaim to know Jesus or have some sort of faith, it often seems very shallow or misguided. Carlos and Alexa seem to have a good grasp on what it actually means to live for Christ. I’m glad to have picked this up and would recommend it to anyone who loves celebrity memoirs.
