I don't really understand why the author decided to continue this book series, I felt like it was finished and all necessary loose ends tied nevertheless I was excited. The book started on a high note and it went pretty well. The case building and setup about the cold case was fun. I felt like most of the action and specifics about solving the case was forced into the last like 40 pages or ten percent of the book. The pacing could definitely be better but the book was overall a solid fun read.
