I didn’t know anything about this author but picked this up because I love travel & travel stories. His audiobook narration is hilarious, with copious references to the husband he so obviously loves. He grew up in Queens and ate school lunches alone so he’s homespun enough to order a well-done burger or dine solo, but he’s also snobby enough to be vocally particular about his travel, restaurant and socialization preferences 😂
