I enjoyed it. I don't want to know about its realistic improbabilities or impossibilities. It was a good time. One of the few books I was sad to see end. I could have spent more time with Dez, see what happens to the sisters, where Dez goes next.
I hate cliffhangers. Hope Byrne hurries with the next one

I enjoyed this sequel much more than the first book in the series. It feels a little less misogynistic and Limerick feels a little less skeevy. The writing is compelling, fast-paced, and action-packed. I enjoyed watching Limerick outsmart the bad guys. I'm still not sure that there is enough here that is special, that sets this series apart from other thrillers on the market, to make it memorable, but it's an enjoyable way to escape reality and kill some time. I wouldn't object to reading more of the series.

Book #2 in Dez Limerick series was a non-stop thriller. Just when you think Dez has the bad guys sorted, they come at him from another angle! I love how tenacious Dez is when he is protecting friends, he is like the Energizer Bunny and won't stop. Looking forward to reading "listening" to the next book in the series.

John Keating did a great job narrating this novel, I absolutely love listening to his accent and I hope he continues narrating the rest of the series.

I love me some Dez Limmerick, if only he were a real person that I know! His sense of humor and irreverence is amazing and I am totally here for it. On top of the fact that he's a trained badass that can kick pretty much anyone's ass and is a kind-hearted dude = amazing! I can't wait for the next book in the series to see what he gets up to and who he saves in the process.

I am adding all of James Byrne's books to my TBR now.
