Less 0.5 due mid way the book the story got dragged out
Funny how both daughters end up becoming lawyers but didn’t really serve much purpose as lawyers in this story of theirs
Also didnt see that twist coming in the last few chapters of the book
Karin slaughter is still my favourite. all gory and in details descriptions, twists and turns making you wish you can read faster or you don’t need to sleep or have any chores so you can finish the book

3.5 rounded down, this book was a lot more graphic than I was expecting but overall the writing style was good and the twists weren’t ~super~ twisty for me but still entertaining!

This book was amazing, and I have been recommending it to everyone I know. The whole time I was reading this book I had no idea what was going to happen. This book never failed to surprise me with its twists and turns.

Not one of Karin's best book but still a good book. The twists are always twisting with her! 

Shoutout to the dad in this book for knowing his version of right and wrong and standing up for it. Also for letting their kids be who they wanted to be, and for being the dad that each one of them needed.
