Another great one from Karin Slaughter. Story of tragedy, loss, and the love of two sisters. I truly enjoyed this one. Thank you for the free giveaway Goodreads.
I would give this book 3.5 stars. I enjoyed some of the twists and turns the book took but wasn’t particularly overwhelmed by the writing in general.

3.5. Loved the characters. The mystery had too many coincidences and was honestly a little lame.

Great plot twists and excellent storytelling. Strong portrayal of the effects of trauma, loss, and grief, and the wounds we carry with us without even knowing they are there. My heart hurts and hopes for these two sisters.
This book was the hotter sister to 'Gone Girl'. While I wouldn't necessarily call is suspenseful, it was full of twists and new plot/character development. Unlike a lot of books in this genre, the pieces to this book actually fit together and didn't seem too over the top. I would recommend but not sure if it's the type of books that one reads for a second time.
