I really wanted to love this more. I was so excited for an MMM book, and the concept was great. Although I wasn't overly crazy about Nico's energy at first, I got on board with all the characters. I was even OK with the semi-insta-love between the three. It's just...too often I felt like we were moving through things step by step in a checklist.

- Talk to family - Check
- Everyone OK with this? - Check
Event: Main characters end up in Poly relationship
To Do:
- All people in relationship OK with this? - Check
- Coworkers OK with this? - Check

- etc
On top of that, the humor didn't do it for me. Sometimes it was funny, other times I felt like we were set up for the joke. By the end I had to push to finish which is why my rating went from 3 to a 2 stars. :-(

I enjoyed it and the characters are fun. I adore Niko and Wicky's interactions a lot. I did lag on it a bit at the end but not enough to not read the other books in the series.
