ew. I really did not like this book. While I found the beginning of the book creepy and suspenseful, the dialogue was unnatural and cheesy ("I'm going to tell you exactly what I'm thinking," Jan says) and the characters were so poorly developed that they had nothing unique about them or to differentiate one from the other. The storyline was pretty predictable about halfway through - and the book went on too long. I would not recommend this one.

I often goes into books rather blind, only reading the blurb so maybe it was wrong of pöme expecting another kind of story and being disappointed in what I got. Wanted a more scarier book and much more suspenseful. I was renting my own cottage when I listened to bits of this and wanted a more thrilling book but it didn't work for me. But it was my own fault for not researching the book more before.
Brilliant book, creepy, gripping and sad all at the same time!
I liked it but it was missing some spice. I wanted to be on the edge of my seat and I felt all of it was predictable. Not a bad book, but not really thrilling or suspense enough.

I enjoyed reading this one it had my heart thudding at times but i'm disappointed with the ending on this one.
This was good! VERY good! It had me gripped straight away!
It had 2 main storylines running throughout and I could not see how they’d link. The penny soon dropped and even though I’d figured out where it was going, I didn’t feel disappointed.
It was so well written and the story just moved seamlessly throughout.
I felt the last few pages that they’d gone for a far too silly ending but the last paragraph pulled it back! Making it a definite 5*

It was a good listen/read. I think the ending was kind of crap, don't get me wrong, it was a good ending, but it left it open for another book... or left it open for there to be more to the story.
I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. Wrote to keep the reader intrigued. I foreseen the upcoming events but didn’t expect the twist at the end to unravel as it did, although I was happy it did :).
