Although I liked this book, I was unimpressed with the cheesy ending. I never expected Henry to be the ghost of Old Joe Bush, and I was disappointed when it was revealed he was. I wanted the ghost of Old Joe Bush to be real. It was still a fun book to read.

A lot more dependent on the internet component, but still a great choice. I can't imagine any boy not loving this. And I think it is definitely in the junior high range
This two book story was delightfully excuted. The same kind of feeling you get on a spooky halloween night. Thrilling and a little bit creepy, the element of journaling and video blogging mixed well for a more "realistic" experience. I enjoyed this greatly, a nice quick simple read for adults, and a bone chiller for kids.
A nice conclusion to Skeleton Creek. Would be a great duology. My kids are obsessed with this story, and we were hanging on every word. Will absolutely read it again in the future. The videos were a nice element again.
Spooky, scooby-doo-y, so-so mystery. That sound is uber-creepy, though.
I also read this second book aloud with my daughter. While it still had a great mix of storytelling and short videos, I don't think this one was quite as good as the first. Still, it kept her attention wonderfully and gave her some history behind some famous scientists, both of which rate high in my book. Entertaining AND educational.
Since this book seemed to end the story behind the dredge, I'm curious to see where the next two will take things. My daughter is excited to keep going with the series, so we will see soon enough!

This was a nice conclusion to Skeleton Creek. Fun idea to combine Internet video with a book.
