This is a very accessible read on the topic. The personal experiences feel like a value add to the existing literature right now on Christian Nationalism. Her voice is very authentic and she’s willing to be vulnerable.

I enjoyed her caustic sense of humor as I have already deconstructed, but I would think the tone may be a turn off for others who are not there yet. Ajoy encourages sharing this book with Christian Nationalists you may know to help challenge their worldview but I’m not convinced that the tone and humor approach would actually be effective in reaching those individuals.

Finally, if this is your first read on the topic, I think the more researched, essay sections will be beneficial. But if you are already well read on the topic, I didn’t find much value in those parts as it didn’t add anything new.
