WOW.
This was a roller coaster ride. I did not read the intro to the book before I started reading (a friend recommended the book so I just trusted them lol) so I was shocked right out the gate with Paul’s death. But everything else after that was just as shocking.
It was darker than I expected (just in the details of what was happening), but it definitely made it scarier considering stuff like that probably really happens IRL.
Defs recommend if you like a crime book!

Jfc. This was crazy from start to finish. Compelling characters but incredibly graphic, disturbing parts. Didn’t think it was necessary to many extremes but Slaughter stands by shedding light on real things that happen. Moral of the story: trust no one???
