6 | out of the King books i’ve read up until this point, The Dead Zone was easily my favorite. the combination of true crime, paranormal, and subtle hints of romance here and there made this a near perfect read.

DNF - I started this as an audiobook on my walks and felt like it was taking so long. Then when I started working I switched it to an ebook and tried to read some more. I made it to 50% and then it started to feel like a chore and I knew if I didn't pick it back up now I was going to forget what I had read. It just wasn't holding my interest enough. That's okay though I am sure there are plenty of other people who enjoy it!

Slowburn books and I are not friends lol.

One of my favourite Stephen King novels I've read recently. Compelling story and interesting characters.

How does King do it? Better yet, how has he been doing it since forever? I’ve just read a book written in 1979 and actually enjoyed it. It was an amazing book!!
Read the last pages in a hurry because I just HAD to know what John did.
