Este libro se salva por Marcella, que es una reina. Pero nada más. Una trama sencilla y que ya hemos visto en otros libros de Cora y un personaje masculino que tiene la misma personalidad que una ameba. Y ese final? Sin sentido todo. Una decepción absoluta.
Mención especial a Luca ♥️ que me ha encantado volver a verlo y me muero de ganas por saber más de Amo!! Tiene mucho potencial ese chico.

Marcella:
- She didn’t annoy me like I thought but she is spoiled.
- She wants everything perfect and not mess up her and her family’s reputation.
- She’s the strongest throughout everything and kept her head high not letting anyone bring her down.
Maddox:
- Really nothing to say about him…
- His “talking” needs to stop like some of the words are ‘’cringe’’ and just a turn off.
- His piercing… I’m looking, I’m looking…

Overall, 3/5 stars nothing bad it’s an okay book.
Out of all the Sins of the Father books, I think Luca is the only one that really "paid" for his sins. Because the only reason Marcella was kidnapped was because Luca killed Maddox's father. And now that they are together Luca has a constant reminder of those events. And Marcella was actually injured physically and mentally. While she didn't lose her family, she did have to rebuild a new image (her sense of self).
When I read this book for the first time, I immediately loved that Cora connected Bound by Love to this one. Because after Luca's rampage the storyline was just dropped, but it shows what a genius Cora is.
Similar to Remo and Fina, her wanting to sleep with Maddox was borderline born out of manipulation. However at least Remo gave Fina the decency to have her first time in a bed

What a ride! Two people living opposite lives, brought together by the sins of their fathers. Maddox's whole life has centered around vengeance and retribution. For the crimes against his family, by Marcella's family. But when Maddox finally get's Marcella where he wants her, nothing seems to be going according to plan. The princess is more than who she first appears to be. She super confident and fearless, despite the circumstances she finds herself in.
I really enjoyed the storyline. The idea of blending both the mafia and the MC story and making them fold until loyalties have to be redrawn. It's kinda like Romeo and Juliet, except they know death may be the outcome, so they're working as hard as they can to find a better solution. I wish there was a little better chemistry between them, but the storyline was just so great, it just left you with a slight feeling that something was off, rather than anything really missing. The story does end on a cliffy and there are still a ton of unanswered questions. Can't wait to see how Maddox and Marci will work out their happily ever after!
