Highly Entertaining! I strongly recommend listening to this book.

My entire body aches from how terrifying my sudden realization is: no matter what happens with that fucking test, no matter who I end up being, at this moment, I know exactly who I am.
Theirs.
Thoughts: 💡
This book was crazy hot! Between the kinky lactation play and hint of Mommy Dommy this book’s spice was literal fire. Beyond that though there was this adorable love story with a detailed and well put together plot.
The characters were perfect! Even though there were times the FMC really frustrated me every time I took a second to think about her choices and reactions in real life I got it, they made practical sense. The MMC still had that slightly unrealistic idea of love and was way too gungho, but it fit for his character.
The audio quality was great, I loved line by line dual narration and these lines were seamlessly edited together. I had to listen to this on 1.4 anything slower felt like the audio was playing in slow mo. Daisy was great and Jason Clarke had this deep measured tone on every line that reminded of Clint Eastwood for some reason. I thought they were both pretty solid narrators.
Ultimately this was a highly entertaining book and I strongly recommend it.

I loved this book so much. I thought reading about devoted dads couldn’t get any better, but make it a man devoted to a child who isn’t biologically his and I’m a goner. Beau is top notch, crème de la crème, do they make them better? I don’t know 🤣 Jason Clarke is the perfect narrator of Beau, no surprise there as he’s one of my favorite narrators. He just has a way of bringing characters to life through his voice that you just can’t get reading off a page. I also really like that Daisy herself co-narrates. It adds depth to the performance since she brought the story to fruition. Literally the only reason I have this book a 4 and not a 5 is because the whole lactation thing creeps me out. So no fault to the book, it’s just not my cup of tea.

I am in love with the swoon-worthy Beau. He is everything a single mom like myself hoped to find.
There were moments when I found myself audibly scoffing or yelling at Beck for some of her choices.
The plot and character development made this one of those books you couldn’t put down. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I don’t even want to talk about it.

If I ever see breast milk talked about in that way again I will personally remove my milk ducts. Lost brain cells and all hope for humanity. The writing was actually quite okay but I will still never recover from this.laura_rheads_too_much's review against another edition
