This was a short, sweet, spicy story that I was able to snag on audible and devour in one sitting. If you like sexy cowboys, dirty talking alphas, and don't mind instalove, Teach Me the Ropes is worth the read.

It was Ok.... It wasn't bad by any means it just didn't really Grip me i may revisit in the future if i need a cowboy or a ranch in any of my good reads challenges... But not rushing.
The interactions between the two leads always felt a bit pushy and stilted... then Bam they are in Love (over 2 days).... it was too rushed for me.

Oh gosh, this was not good. I don't like giving books 1 star, I totally respect the fact that authors put much work into their works, but this was really bad. It felt like I was reading cliche after cliche. While this is more a novella than a full length novel, it struggled to be either. The author tried to get it to have a plot, but the main incident in the book was just weird and kind of put in there to have Sawyer be there because of his profession. The steamy scenes were cringey ... I mean does any man really say 'Come and give me a ride'? Also, can someone explain to me how this guy is a cowboy, when he does no cowboy-ing at all in the book? Does wearing a cowboy hat and living on a ranch automatically make him a cowboy? I don't get it. The heroine was also a bit abnoxious, so I really couldn't find 1 saving grace to make me want to rate it more than 1 star. Sorry, but I really don't get how this book has over 4 stars here...

This was an okay introduction to the series and set the scene. It is short so I didn’t get the connection to the characters or believe in the romance so much. Here’s hoping the others, given less scene setting will be better.
