Listen, I didn’t go into it expecting it to be a wonderful piece of literature. And it wasn’t. But it was cute and lighthearted and steamy. The twists could be seen from miles away and the insta love was kind of unbelievable. 

HOWEVER I did enjoy the listen so that gets it to 3 stars for pure entertainment value. I did think the magic system was kinda cool if a bit ridiculous. There were some funny lines and I did like the demon plane stuff. Overall I had a decent time if I overlooked the plot and character arc flaws and at the end of the day that’s what I’m really looking for in a book xD So well done there

This book wasn't terrible, just extremely vague and plain. You cna predict anything in the book and the writing could use some improvement, it reminded me of wattpad's writing style . A fun, light read if you are in a reading slump or just starting out your reading journey.
