This was my first ever audio book & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the recount of the social mores of Harvard fascinating as was the retelling of the origin of the Facebook phenomenon. Even if only partially true the inter-relationships between the major players were rivetting.

I figured since I still haven't managed to see The Social Network, despite the fact that I have longed to see it since Aaron Sorkin was announced to be writing the screenplay and that it has been in my home for more than a week, I figured I could read it before watching the film. It was good, I'm excited to see what Sorkin did with it.

This is the book the movie "Social Network" was based on. I saw the movie a couple of years ago and have only just now read the book. I found the movie & the book to be quite similar, except there was no Justin Timberlake in the book. ;)

An obviously biased and sensationalised account, that deserves little creedence. Highly dissapointing given the fantastic works published on other internet companies that changed the world ie: Google.

Fucking hate capitalism but before stating that with full force would like to form a proper opinion and trace back American values to the Protestant Split etc etc etc.

Fairly well-told. Sympathetic to everyone but Zuckerberg though and it shows.

why did i read this help

I was all ready to love this, but I didn't. I can't even finish. I did, however, learn not to go into business with Mark Zuckerberg, no matter how harmless and socially awkward he looks. That guy will eff you over in business.
