informative medium-paced

similar style to many of his previous works..so that was expected

I think the story is okay. the first half is detailed, and filled with a lot of information, yet the second half seemed somewhat lacking, both in terms of the content and writing style. Maybe its the fact that this was largely "made up"...as in the main character wasn't there. What's more it seemed the ending was rather abrupt, like how one moment we're on the main character and the next moment one of the lead characters is arrested.

nevertheless, a good read on how facebook started up.

Decent history. A bit biased I'm sure. It's interesting anyway.

I had seen the movie, but forgotten all the details. Like the fact that Facebook wasn't solely Zuckerberg's creation (minor detail, LOL). Reads like fiction but made so much better because it's not. A solid 3.5 stars.

Loved it. Very fast read and very interesting material. I haven't seen the movie, yet, but this has definitely piqued my interest!

I was all ready to love this, but I didn't. I can't even finish. I did, however, learn not to go into business with Mark Zuckerberg, no matter how harmless and socially awkward he looks. That guy will eff you over in business.

Want to feel old and unaccomplished? Read this book!

I'm sure the book was much more salacious than the actual story of Facebook's beginnings. At times the writing made me chuckle -- not the story but the writing itself. Yeah, I get it...Zuckerberg's a genius. And any fleshed out character who's not Zuckerberg? Pretty much going to get screwed. The author doesn't even try to hide it.

And that's fine with me. In choosing this book, I wasn't out for an in-depth psychological and economical analysis of the birth of Facebook. Just an entertaining read.

For some reason this book looked better to me than anything else in the small bookshop at the airport. It was a quick read, which is why it gets two stars. Topic was interesting, but there really wasn't much there.
