NTMA & NTMN: This was definitely a quick read. Especially since I read and listened at the same time. I got the gist of the main characters' relationship fairly early but there were a couple of things I felt were rushed or glossed over for the sake of making it a quick read. Sibling's best friend is one of my favorite troupes and I wanted to a little bit more backstory on the start of their relationship.

The narration was decent. I liked how versatile she was in changing up her voice for both male & female characters, as well as giving each character their own accent or voice. The only thing I think I had an issue with in it was the editing of the audio. There was a time or two I could tell the narrator made a mistake and it wasn't removed. Other than that, it was nice debut book. Since I know it is a first book in a series, I'm eager to see more about these characters as a couple.

This was the first book I read from the author and I enjoyed it. Ezra and Noelle have deserved to have their moment together. I'm sure if you purchase this book you will enjoy it.

I normally don't do cliffhangers, but I already have the other two books on my kindle, so I'm not mad about that ending. I absolutely love and adore this author's style. She is such an amazing and beautiful writer. Seriously, her ability to draw readers into each and every scene is phenomenal and her characterization is topnotch. I hope it's not too soon to say this since I'll be moving directly on to the next two books, but I'm in love with all of these characters. Ezra and Noelle are two very creative, smart, and beautiful people who carry the pain and loss of someone who meant the world to them. I felt that emotion deep in my core. Their connection is powerful, and their chemistry is unmatched. I mean after 8 years, and the fire still pops between them like what I was reading?! That's some sexy and emotional stuff right there. And it was all so natural...they fell into a rythym of being around each other as if no time had passed and the feelings never dwindled. I'm not gonna lie, I was worried about Bev for minute thinking she was going to be a problem, (me making assumptions and all) but this author blew me away with her mature and understanding approach to this character. That was a pleasant surprise, and I loved it. And finally--that last scence was #hotAF!

I wanna be someone’s first Noel

Quick reads always always feel like they leaving me hanging. Like I’m not getting all the info, but this was sweet and charming. And a good start to my Christmas romance reading list!! Also Bev might be my favorite out of everyone.
