This started out really promising, but then just ended up being the same thing as the first book for another 300 pages. It just got a little old after a while. Still entertaining, just nothing really exciting or memorable.

(review for Tiny Pretty Things duology) An elegant, dark and twisted duology. I remember reading this as a young teen and wanting more books to come for the series, but it genuinely ended perfectly. Always had a passion for ballet and anything ballet-related, this really scratched that itch.

Would recommend (for pure psychological and physical warfare amongst teenagers in a ballet institution), would read again.

was this needed? no it wasn’t. it was kinda entertaining but it felt like honestly they could’ve just left it with one book and tying the revelations into the end of the story.

With all the build up from the first book - and there was a lot of it - this felt very anticlimactic and a bit uneventful. It's not as fun as the first book, but I still liked it. 7/10
