I liked this story, but it's a bit different from the previous Cedar Cove storyline. I love that former characters are making appearances though. I really like the handyman :)

Stopped reading at 80%, I just coulnd't care much about the characters and their dramatic backgrounds.
Was fooled by the pretty cover, this genre is probably not my cup of tea anyways..

This was a good light read, in that it did not require any thinking on my part. There were a couple of times when the story repeated itself, in that it told you the same piece of information like 3 times as if it was trying to set up a plot, but it was just repeated information for no reason. All in all I would read a book by Debbie Macomber again.

This novel is like a Hallmark movie in a book. And sometimes, as readers, that's exactly what we need, a story that clicks together perfectly as it moves along. There are problems, but never too overshadowing, a little romance, maybe some benevolent interaction with lost loved ones, cozy atmosphere, bright and easy friendships, and a lot of healing. If you're in the mood for a feel good book where everything difficult resolves neatly (or at least shows infinite promise for doing so), you'll like this story.

Enjoyable enough. Things were tied up a little too cleanly for my liking...life is much messier.

Such a lovely return to Cedar Cove. I loved the story lines that were introduced and I'm looking forward to seeing more and more from these characters. Mrs. Macomber doesn't disappoint.

This was a good, quick & light read that was perfect for a long car ride!
