The second chapter of the Roman Assassin.

While the first comic tried to introduce us to the new assassin ancestor of Desmond, this comic goes much deeper into the history.

As all the AC stories, it's about the quest to find another 'Piece of Eden'.
I have to admit that this comic's focus on the new Assassin is how it should have been from the beginning. Even the historical background is suprisingly correct (and as a history teacher, I can know).

If you liked Altaïr, you will certainly like Aquilus. He's not as much fun as Ezio and Edward, but like Altaïr he is a serious assassin with a loving wife.

This was better than the first book, I like it bc we got to see more about the ancestor of Desmond and understand the motives of them

I think we're going to have to say that this comic is "loosely based" on the video games. In fact, the many incongruencies made it difficult to read for me, or rather - I have to admit that a lot of what's happening in this comic can be argued to have taken place outside the game, but it's a little headache inducing. But overall it's a good read with some nice art. The story suffered from a lack of a) Ezio b) Altair c) Subject 16, but that's just my opinion.

I am really digging this series! I like the new ancestor and the adventures in between the games. I was wary of reading this at first but I love it. You don't have to have played any of the Ezio games to read this one.
