This is my second time reading this book, and I think I enjoyed it even more. I never finished the series but I’m trying to do so this month. I had forgotten almost everything about this book, especially the stuff with Bianca and Nico. I can’t wait to see what happens with Nico as the series keeps going! About to get the next book!!

While i did still enjoy this book it did not keep me turning pages the way the first two did. I found myself interested enough to keep coming back to it, but not enough that i was excited to read every night. However, the ending of this book really picks up and makes things more complicated and interesting. I found that the losses that are presented in this part of the series start to make the dangers of being a Half Blood really present. We knew it was a dangerous life, but not until this book do we really believe Riordan when he says it.
