Short and sweet

Interesting tidbits; basically a couple short paragraphs for each woman.
Probably a good thing for teachers to use to spark interest in further research.

This is a good book as it includes short info on the women mentioned with some cute illustrations.

However, I feel like the info is kinda basic or in some cases inaccurate i.e in Cleopatra's case, her death is actually due to unknown causes. It also doesn't help that there's better books out there with better info.

But overall, I do appreciate the author's dedication to the project & to bring these women to light.

Quick and fun read over a long dinner. Happy to say I knew all but a few of the women featured.

Excellent book. Really enjoyed all the different stories which show that a bad girl comes in many shapes, sizes, ethnicities, & ages.

Awesome book.

While this book has only very short biographies of each of the woman, it was perfect.

The women come from every single moment in time, even from the beginning of humanity. The artwork that accompanied each biography were all very gorgeous.

This book started my love of reading about strong women throughout history. It started off me researching most of the women and becoming empowered.

It’s a relatively easy book to read, and I therefore believe every woman (and person) should read it at least once.

As is evident from the title this book is a collection of really short essays and sometimes even just a few lines on the legacies of women who were ground-breakers and leaders in their own ways and therefore considered to be “bad girls” by the societies of their times, for going against the norms.

This book is however just a token read that barely skims the surface with regards to the featured women and is not a very persuasive collection.

The stereotypically glammed up and delicate illustrations of women as per certain beauty standards didn’t really work for me.

Wish it was a more diverse collection and not so white-washed.
Also, what exactly was Lilith, a mythological figure doing in this anthology?

Not a very enjoyable reading experience for me.
