This book is a super easy read. It breaks down a lot of history into 1-3 paragraph chunks per “bad girl”. A very good thing to have around the house for guests/younglings to flip through.

Great book! Definitely makes me want to learn more about these women from history. Many of them I'd heard of before and others were new to me. The book has a variety of people from different countries, backgrounds, and time periods.
My only concern about this book is that it's not kid-friendly. Several entries mention sexuality and nudity. One entry is about a stripper, which is very odd.

This book is a very broad and *brief* collection of impressive women throughout history. There are portions that feel rather one-sided, but this can be excused in the nature of its brevity. The very best part of this book is the beautiful illustrations that accompany each woman.

I love the style of the illustrations and found the mini biographies interesting. Some of the women I knew and some I didn't so it was an interesting mix. The essays are short but it does say in the intro that it is only meant to be a starting point so it is a nice easy way to be introduced to these women before doing further research of my own, which makes it more accessible to a wider audience.
Entertaining, quick and easy to read and with gorgeous illustrations, very recommendable! My only issue is that it's not very innovative in the sense that I already knew about 95% of the women included in this book, and most of the ones I didn't know about left me a bit cold. Also, a lot of the biographies were way too short to fully transmit the impact these very awesome ladies have had in our society.
Very cute book! The pictures are amazing. The stories are powerful, meaningful, and inspiring. The author chose a lot of great women to represent!
