Great read, going to have my husband read it too and see what we can implement. We would like to go from a season of surviving to thriving as a family.

Just like the author’s previous book, I found this one greatly methodical and approachable. The theories were nothing new, but they were all logical.

The biggest thing that resonated with me this time was about adjusting expectations. That a ‘habit’ didn’t have to be 5-7 times a week, but could be 3 times.

Palatable time management kind of book. Appreciate learning of her strategies and found it easy to digest and ponder.

Finally a time management book that's practical, doable and enjoyable. I've read other books in this genre, like books by Michael Hyatt for example, but I tend to have to figure out how to apply the content to my life because I'm not a man in business, rather a homemaker, homeschooling parent, student and attempting to build a small business.

Vanderkam's book offered me ways of looking at time differently and not just in the "track your time and you'll get it all figured out" kind of way either. While I know tracking your time by 15 and/or 30 minute increments can be very helpful, I just don't always want to do that. Choosing a specific day to plan my week, each week, making sure to plan in one big adventure, one small one, and time for what matters? Yes, I can do that. Choosing to do something effortful & enjoyable before something mindless? Absolutely.

This book showed me I really can do the things I want to do while also taking care of "life", I just need to have a good system in place and the awareness to take action on it. Thankfully, Vanderkam lays it all out so simply with practical, doable steps.
