I am absolutely in love with this book and especially with the characters. Pierre is such a charismatic and lovable person, you can't help but feel sorry for him. He is a very mature character with strong morals and values that he is ready to protect. Ève is no less impressive. She is simply a queen and is very empowering and strong for her time. They're both very interesting separately and together form a very beautiful relationship. It was my first ever screenplay and I loved the pace and dynamics of it. Very simple read, highly recommend you to read it because it is sad yet warm and makes your emotions jump and dance.

Not a particularly special book, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless.
It's a bit of a stereotypical Romeo and Julliet inspired situation, but it's a good, short read still. I especially enjoyed his idea of what a life after death would look like, but I was also wishing for more depth and details on it that never came. I was left with more questions then answers, but death serves the plot of the story nicely.
