Too many mentions of Harry Potter. The main character had way too many conflicting feelings that were evidently toxic and he tried to “fix” the love interest even though she was working through her grief and not going to just let that go for him. So yeah.

Honestly, this book was just okay for me. I thought the storyline was good, but I didn't fall in love with the characters at all. Henry was kind of annoying to me, and I also didn't like how Grace treated him. I know that was the point of the book, but it was still weird to me. I also didn't like how there was so much talk about underage drinking and drugs and sex and everything. There was also a lot of swearing, so I didn't like that either. The reason I'm giving it 1.5 stars instead of just 1 is because I like the focus on how everyone grieves differently and how sometimes we can like different versions of people. Because that was a huge focus of the book, I kept reading, hoping the story would get better. It didn't.
