Read chapters 29-31 on KManga.

This volume explores the backstory between Kou and Otomo and the growing friendship between Otomo and Natsume. A new potentially antagonistic character is introduced. Something about this volume felt like it was set in the summer, even though it wasn't. I think it was all the scenes outdoors and the slow pacing.

This volume I truly loved with Otomo being the main perspective. From the year meeting Kou for the first time, a promise made later with friends to the present time in 8th grade with Natsume, reeling with her conflicted emotions with Otomo.

The last panels really got me with the teenage angst
