I was wondering when the church was going to make an appearance lol. I’m interested to see what direction the manga goes in that regard. I also love that we’re getting some backstory for a certain character.

Thus far vol.3 is the best in the series (haven't read 4 yet). We finally start to get an idea as to why Vanitas behaves in the ways that he does and some hints to his background as well as meeting the long talked about but never shown 'chauseurs'.
