It was good to tie in Megan and Eve. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.

This book was great! It was fast-paced, suspenseful, and really built me up for the next novel in the series - ended with a twist. I loved seeing Megan Blair for Pandora's Daughter reappear in the book and I have a sneaking suspicion it won't be the last I see of her. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Started another series mid-stream. Interesting plot twist at the end that I'm eager to see where it goes.

I really enjoyed this book it brought a lot of characters from past books together which was great! I will say after I finished reading this I did have to go back and reread Pandoras Daughter and Stalemate since I couldnt' remember everything that they were talking about or that had happened to a few characters in previous books that was referenced So that would be my only suggestion unless you have an excellent memory!
I would also this this book is good because Iris Johansen is blending two story lines together. Eve Duncan with Michael Travis--Notice they both have CIA Veneable in there :)--common link

Listened to the audiobook. The reader was annoying...her Columbian accent sounded more Transylvanian to me.

3.5 stars. Eve Duncan is in pursuit of the man she believes killed her daughter. Another page-turner, but I did find this one to be a little over-dramatic at times. Still a fun read, though.

I was pretty darn disappointed in this book. I really expected it to be much better. I kept reading, waiting for that to happen, but it never did.

I'm from Idaho, currently renting an island home in the Bahamas for two weeks to finish writing my third book. While perusing the bookshelves, I was thrilled to find QUICKSAND by Iris Johansen. Interestingly, part of the storyline takes place in a snowbound hideaway in Idaho.

HOLY MOLY! I don't scare easy, but this is one heckofa nail-biting, page-turning, edge-of-the-seat ride! And on those occasions when I feel like having the bejeebers scared out of me, you can be sure that this new-to-me author is one whose books I will make a point of reading.

The story has the same format as most of Johansen's other books, but as always Eve, Jane, and Joe are like old friends. In this book, I developed a liking for Montalavo and enjoyed Miguel's wit. Loved the twist at the end - a great way to keep the stories coming.
