Literally just finished and I'm not entirely sure how I feel. There's certain aspects of this that I really enjoyed but then there's others that make it seem a bit...clunky. There is just SO MUCH going on at one time that it kinda has your head spinning, and not always in a good way.

I'd like to give it three and a half stars but unfortunately that's not an option. Will I be reading the second book in this duet? Obviously. Am I likely to reread this? Eh... Not sure.

That said, I very much appreciate the list of trigger warnings at the beginning of the book. ✌️

There is a lot going on in this one. I felt like I was death gripping the very small sliver of a plot to make it to the end. I will say the format of the book was super cool as well as the subplot that runs across the entire book involving the main character's grandmother. Outside of that though it was almost unreadible with the sheer density of sexual content that takes up the majority of this book. Outside of the craziness of that content the amount itself was too much. Would I suggest this book? Maybe? but it would be a suggestion for a very niche person and it would not be from my own enjoyment of the book. That being said I will be reading the next book to have closure.

Wow. That’s the only thing I can say. When I started reading this book. I knew how people had mixed opinions on this and I’m going to be honest here: I don’t know what to say.

This book was so dark yet so captivating. I’ve read a lot of dark romance but this one was WOW

I enjoyed the book and the intensity. Growing up I loved watching Law and order SVU and NCIS. This was a little more dark and twisted in some ways. Part of me cringed but part of me enjoyed the suspense. To Zade…. I love that he saves people for his job... but the whole story of how he forceful and aggressive throws me for a loop. I can’t tell if I need to cringe or enjoy everything going on lmao. But I truly enjoyed the suspense behind the job he has and story behind Addie’s GiGi
