This is a good book but the characters do not really develop. They’re pretty much the same through the entire book.   I don’t wanna give any spoilers so I will leave it at that.

Some of the filler stuff didn’t need to be in the book for the plot BUT the filler stuff is what kept the book interesting in the build up parts of the book. Personally I loved how dark it was.
