If only I could give half stars here. Truly wanted to get this one 3 1/2 half stars, and I felt like it didn’t deserve just three so I rounded up to four.

This book is a pretty enjoyable and easy read. There is no “wow” factor to it (in my opinion). I liked the characters, but there was nothing that I absolutely loved about them. I actually had a hard time visualizing what them the entire book. Even though there are some descriptions, for me it wasn’t enough. I still struggled with how the characters looked like in my head, haha.

Not my favorite by Mr. Sparks, but still a good one.

Just finished listening to an old-school Nicholas Sparks audiobook, and wow—instant time machine! It totally reminded me why he used to be my go-to author for all the feels. This story had that classic Sparks magic that took me straight back to the days of The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. There's just something about that vintage Nicholas Sparks vibe—heartfelt, emotional, and a little bit tear-jerky—that hits different. Forever a fan of the OG Sparks era!

Thanks for making me cry on Valentine

I recently read this book, and found myself asking "why hadn't I read this before?"
It was one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books. Great story, good romance. I would have given it a higher score- but there was about 25% of the story that really annoyed me. I didn't feel as if Sparks concluded that part of the story as well as he could have.
I see myself re-reading this in the future, and hoping I will have more understanding the next time around.
