Boring

I can deal with the "almond shaped eyes" bs. Like I've said before, everybody has almond shaped eyes. I don't see round eyes or square eyes or oval eyes.
If you ask what shape mine are, sure I'll concede they're almonds, and not that big either, and hey I'm not Asian.
What I won't stand by is calling them "exotic eyes". Whatever the f* Nicholas Sparks even means with that.

I really like this book. I don't like a lot of romance books, but I will always read Nicholas Sparks' books. They're the perfect mix for me. I thought this was going to be like some of his other books, but I was wrong. This isn't my favorite book of his, but I do like it a lot. I thought the chapters were a good length. I liked the storyline. I cried a lot when reading this. The ending was really good. I wasn't expecting it to end the way it did. I thought it was a good way to end the story. If you're in the mood for a good cry, I recommend this book.

Wew, my first Nicholas Sparks novel and I love it. I absolutely adored Kyle and have grown to like him too. (Izz just sooo Adowable~!)

Although the story is quite interesting, some of its "words of wisdom" parts is cliched. Some of it has this Moulin Rouge-esque in it.. And there were some parts that were too wordy, its just me though. BUT, I still like it~~
So go on and buy this one, it is surely worth it. That is if you want some easy to read adult(?) books :D

why does nicholas sparks like to set people on fire in his novels? overly gruesome at times, unbearably boring the rest.

I love this authors books. There is always such a feel good factor when you have finished them.

"I wuff you... Kenk yuu Money, Tayers homm."
[I love you... Thank you Mommy, Taylor's home]

These words of a five-year old kid saying to his patient mother made me cry as I walked home from the office. A bittersweet story, it made me realize that the statement of endearment is normally taken for granted; and when taken seriously, your emotions will be stirred and your heart will be swept away.

Do you have an escape? Nicholas Sparks shared his Slice-of-life as he made this composition. It is for every reader to find out and to reflect and how to address that escape.

CW + TW: death, death of a loved one, disability, depression, fire, vehicle accident, drowning

It has been 2 years since I read this but I hope my memory and review does this book justice.

THE RESCUE by NICHOLAS SPARKS is a romance between two people that probably would not have met if it was not for the accident. Taylor is a volunteer fireman driving around and searching or any down power lines to alert the crew. During the process, he finds a car badly damaged from an accident and finds a woman still inside. Denise, the woman in the accident, immeditely realizes her son is missing and asks for help to find him. The ambulance takes her to the hospital to have her injuries looked over and recover. While she's there, the search for her son begins. The firefighters, police, volunteers now have to race back out into the storm and search as quickly as possible to find Denise's son. The longer he is out here exposed to the elements and with any possible injuries, the less time he has and less of a chance of surviving. Nearly 6 hours later, Taylor is the one to find Denise's son Kyle and reunite the pair. Denise is grateful for he son being back, Kyle is slowly forming a bond with Taylor, and Taylor is intrigued in Denise. The formed relationships between the three slowly strengthens throughout the story and I loved it.

Jan 4, 2020: I just finished my reread of this. My thoughts and feelings towards the book hasn’t changed. I still love it. I was still angry with what Taylor was doing, still shocked and angry by the death at the end, still cried because of the last few pages.

This book made me sob uncontrollably
