Review:
I started to love this book til the middle when i slowed down abit for me but thankfully picked up before the last chapter.
I love that this book covered the topic of Autisim cause i feel like ALOT of readers dont understand how underrated the disease is and how its not talked about as much as it should be talked about.
The characters were so interesting to read about and to get to know, i just wish the storyline hadnt been a rollercoaster one. Over all its a favorite of mine but not in my top 5 fave by Nicholas!!
Can't wait to read more by Nicholas in the future!!

Very few books have the capability to move me as much as this one did. The characters are so real that you can't help by be pulled into this beautiful story. This may be one of Nicholas Sparks' best. I love how Taylori s confronted with the fact that he wants to save every damsel in distress by giving his heart to them, but this time is different. His relationship with Denise brings out feelings that he has never experience before, and it terrifies him. This story is riveting and impeccable, and I dare anyone to read it without being touched by it.
Nicholas Sparks always comes through! Very much enjoyed this book, difficult to put down. Though slightly disappointed with the ending but beggars can't be choosers.
I know these are written for soccer moms and hopeless romantics, but I can't help myself. It's good beach reading. Sparks weaves an enjoyable love story about how the losses in life can hold us back when we don't heal. The side story of the unshakable, unconditional love that parents can have for their children also pulls on the heart strings.
I enjoyed the beginning of this book the most, because it starts off right away with a very intense scene and it made it very exciting. But then after the first 100 pages, the suspense dies down and you get to see the relationship develop between Taylor and Denise which was sweet, but it wasn't anything memorable. This book was good, but definitely not Nicholas Sparks best.
Really enjoyed reading this book, nice way to end my reading slump. One of the nicholas sparks books I have enjoyed the most, nice to have a somewhat happy ending. Happy to recommend this one to my friends :)
I read the Nicholas Sparks books on a recommendation from my sister. She said that he can write like about a woman like no other man she has seen so I had to see for myself. I think he is definately in touch with his feelings to be able to write the story he does.
I've been avoiding Nicholas Sparks books for as long as I can remember....ever since I watched the movie they made of The Notebook. It's depressing. Why would I want to read something depressing? Well, I started reading this in my Kindle because of the title, not noticing the author. By the time I realized it was a Nicholas Sparks, I was already hooked. I am SO glad I read it. I really loved the story. I think it helps that this is one book that kind of has a happy ending, in a way.
I've read this book more times than I can count, and I never get tired of it. It's one of those go-to books when I'm in the mood for a really good read, or when I just don't know what else I want to read at the time. I haven't read this one in quite some time so I decided that it was a good time for a reread.
I have to say that one of the first things I loved about this book was Denise's son, Kyle. He struggles with a learning disability and Denise has given up her former life in Atlanta and being a teacher to dedicate her time trying to teach Kyle to speak. He has been seen by every doctor and specialist available with no avail. He comes across as an incredibly sweet boy who tries so hard to learn and Denise's dedication is inspiring. Then Taylor and Denise start seeing each other and you can see the sparks fly. And the way Taylor acts with Kyle is very endearing.
But Taylor has so many hidden demons that he tries to bury and not deal with. As the story unfolds, we begin to realize more why Taylor is the way he is. But he still won't accept help from anyone. Denise tries, but he pushes her away. His mom tries, but he won't talk to her about it. Mitch, his best friend, tries, but again, he won't speak of it. My heart ached for Taylor, Denise and Kyle as the story unfolds. They have all been put through so much, and readers can feel their emotions as if they're experiencing themselves. This is easily one of my favorite stories by Nicholas Sparks and I recommend it to anyone any chance I get.
