While this was a good story, I will say, for me it all progressed very slowly and was hard to keep the momentum while reading. This story has one of my absolute favorite tropes! Carmen is a single mom to Lucia and life hasn’t been super great to her. Ink unintentionally ghosts Carmen due to miscommunications but eventually sees how that was a mistake. They start a relationship but a rival MC starts causing trouble.

I loved the way Ink was with Lucia, his protectiveness of them both. MC romances are some of my favorites because of the found family aspect of them and it was shown in Ink. The MC is truly a family and they look out for each other. Ink and Carmen had some obstacles but in the end they got their HEA.

I loved Rider so I knew I was going to like Ink too. I just didn’t realize how much I was going to love him! His and Carmen’s story was so cute! And the way he was with Lucia absolutely made my heart melt.

"ARC Review"

Please Read “Rider: Mystic Venom MC” first if you do not want to get spoiled about his story!

This story is a second-chance romance story. Ink is a member of the Mystic Venom MC, an ex-con, and fully tatted. Carmen is a strong single mom, that is struggling and lives with her parents. The two could not be more different but it seems like the two can not stay away from each other. But after Ink ghosted Carmen after the Christmas party she seems to be done with him. Is she though? He definitely is not done with her and is ready to fight for a second chance at their relationship. There is trouble coming into town from another MC and after Carmen sees the danger she is ready to be protected by him. But she is scared for not just herself but her daughter Lucia. Will her feelings about Ink put her daughter in danger or is Ink able to keep his promise?
I devoured this book and it was an absolutely great read. I have not read an MC romance but I am so glad I did and I feel like I have a new obsession. Something about these bikers is leaving marks on me. Sadie did an amazing job of keeping me on my toes throughout the whole book. Even though it is a fast pasted book, I never knew what I could expect on the next page. Now I will jump back and read Rider because Detroit is coming out very soon and I need to finish the series before Detroit!
