Lady Fitz-Tulip's character was a hoot to read aloud, Mr. Pockles is tender and sweet, and the illustrations are whimsical. Just a fun, good book.
Actual Lesson: Sharing is rewarded with friends and good feelings.
Unintentional Lesson: Everyone looks good wearing a hat and being festive (I'm digging the Going to Bed hat).

A very cute and funny story about sharing, friendship, and the love of hats! This would make a great read aloud for an elementary class.
I can't really describe what it was about this book that I liked so much, but I just......really liked it. I liked the voice of the narration, the illustrations, the characters, the setting.... Everything just kind of rolled together to make a very enjoyable book.
This was a sweet book about accepting others and thinking about the world from other's viewpoints.
