Reading this book was truly one of the most humbling experiences of my life. An absolutely beautiful story of a man and his pet cat. I don't want to say much about it to avoid giving things away, but told from the perspective of a cat, this story details the confusion and misunderstanding of a pet who is being given away by its owner. The cat, our main character, struggles to understand why it is being abandoned, while, at the same time, we learn more and more information about the cat's owner as he visits people from his past, asking them to adopt his beloved pet. This story is beautiful, heartwarming and heartwrenching at the same time.

This is such a good story, yet so emotional. Never fails to make me cry

The idea was great and the book started really well, but at some point it got boring. Many scenes were not from cat's perspective, but from one of the characters. There was no connection with any of the characters, they lacked personality, and the cat was a constant irritation being ironic all the time.
