Audiobook. This is a short book that took me a long time to listen to, but I’m not mad about it at all! It was slow paced, but deep and wonderful and worth savoring. So many lovely relationships and human emotion!
The English translation was good, but I do wish I spoke Japanese because I’m sure it would be even more beautiful in the original language. The English accent on the narrator was a little weird (juxtapositioned with the Japanese names and places) but I got over it eventually lol.

This book was a beautiful read with the humor of a cats perspective. Definitely one of the best books of this year and one of my new favorites.
