This book was incredibly helpful and insightful. I'm not someone who suffers from depression but I am incredibly close to people who do. Matt Haig gets incredibly personal and vulnerable in this book. I listened to the audio book and I loved hearing him tell his own story.
There are great quotes and tidbits that apply to general everyday living. I definitely think that this book will help people live with greater empathy. I really recommend this book :)

Overall this was a very good read. There was such good descriptions of mental illnesses and I especially loved the statistics and quotes that were inserted to develop the ethos. However, I think I was hoping to feel a little more inspired in the end than I did. Some other mental health related books left me feeling inspired but this one did not have that affect for whatever reason. However, I overall really enjoyed this book, it was a fast and wholesome read, especially for anyone who is trying to understand depression for a loved one!!
