Overall this was a very good read. There was such good descriptions of mental illnesses and I especially loved the statistics and quotes that were inserted to develop the ethos. However, I think I was hoping to feel a little more inspired in the end than I did. Some other mental health related books left me feeling inspired but this one did not have that affect for whatever reason. However, I overall really enjoyed this book, it was a fast and wholesome read, especially for anyone who is trying to understand depression for a loved one!!

I really liked the way this book was set out. Part memoir, part self-help, part philosophy. This isn't going to reflect everyone's experience of anxiety and depression but it isn't meant to. There is still a lot to take from this book. The chapters are short and manageable but the content is very emotional, so tread with care.
