I did like this book and I liked that it was a FF romance as well. We have one character that is for sure bisexual or multi-sexual of some kind with the other character it is a little unclear if she is just lesbian or bi as well. The story is also very serious and is one of the darker-toned stories in the Dark Olympus series for sure. The romance does move fast but as in Mrs. Roberts's way the characters knowledge that fact themselves and it make the story so much more reasonable. I think if you miss out on this you don't really miss anything but if you do get to read it. It definitely enhances the series as a whole especially with Poseidon's story coming out soon.
Graphic: Infidelity, Classism, Abandonment, Sexual content, and Violence
Moderate: Gaslighting, Alcohol, Cursing, Toxic relationship, Body shaming, and Domestic abuse

Super quick prequel novella to the Neon Gods series. Cute getting to see Hades character in another book. Medusa is sent to kill Calypso, but instead falls in love. I wish we saw a little more of their emotions. It felt pretty silly how quick they fell in love from just meeting.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Domestic abuse

I was so disappointed, this doesn't feel connected to the main series at all. It supposed to take place before Neon Gods...? So why mention one of the big reveals if someone reads this in timeline order? I hope Medusa and Calypso come back and get a grander story. I was so excited for our sapphic queens.
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Sexual content, Violence, Abandonment, and Body shaming
