I wanted a fun, little break in-between all of my pregnancy and parenting reads so decided to pick up this novella for the evening. I love the Dark Olympus series and this was a fun, short return to that world. I'm always interested in how Katee is going to turn these gods/goddesses into current-day people and Medusa did not disappoint in that regard. If you are looking for a short, steamy, sapphic romance, this one's for you!

This was a cute novella and I’m here for the sapphic representation! It doesn’t do a whole lot for expanding the lore of the series, and I do wish it was a bit longer so that it wouldn’t feel so insta-lovey.

I SWEAR TO GOD. This was so short it felt like I blinked and it was over and I did NOT want it to be over. I want to know how Medusa and Calypso build a life together in domestic bliss. Also...gentle assassins are a weird new obsession of mine thanks to this novella.
