Ah, yet another one of Moore's works where I love the story idea but just get SO angry with the man for his completely unnecessary and downright distasteful use of sexual violence as some kind of a panel filler?? Ugh. Knowing before going in that that's what you get with Moore makes it somewhat easier, but still, come on. That's just lazy writing, dude.

I loved this take on a then future-London (it is set in 1997-1998), and how facism, corruption and surveillance has taken over, although I did struggle a bit to tell all the characters apart and make out what their role was in the story.

I'm considering watching the film, to get a slightly different perspective on the story, and perhaps a better connection with the characters, which I felt the graphic novel lacks.
