Hayworth!

Hearts in my eyes while leaking tears. This novella about Hayworth who heartbreakingly was never anyone's first choice in this series, became the only choice for Christian. I loved how Christian realized immediately that Hayworth was the one for him. This was a funny and loving romance about two men who deserved a happily ever after.

3.5 stars.

I didn't remember who Hayworth even was from previous Lucy Lennox stories, but found him to be a bit immature for his age. There was a whole bunch of insta-love/lust here, but it was still a cute story.

3.5-4 stars

Short, sweet, and no Tilly… aka a win! Hahaa

Hay and Chris were great for a book about 100 pages this flowed pretty well, yes the declaration of love was fast but for a novella I let it slide.

I was glad Hay got his happy ever after, since seeing him from Maverick’s book.

Una novella molto carina. È stata una lettura veramente piacevole.

Yay for Hay! He finally gets his HEA!

For a short story this was packed with a lot of laughter, a few tears, and a wonderful ending. And that epilogue was divine. Yes, I would have loved to see *more* ~ but it really was a great short.

Update 12/17/19: Picked up the Audible during their end of year sale. Michael Dean, as usual, brings Lucy Lennox’s characters to life with a sexy voice and sense of humor.

For less than $5, this is a good deal.

4.5 stars!
I am so glad that Hayworth finally got his HEA.
Short stories can be tough for me because insta-love is one of my least favorite tropes but I think after all he went through in the last few stories he was in he deserved his HEA even if it was quick :)

Another absolutely adorable short. So glad to see Hay end up happy.

I know it's hard to avoid insta-love with short stories, but this was a little too much. I did like that Hay got his HEA, and I'm always happy for a return to the Marian world.

3.5 stars. A bit instalovey, but it was cute and I liked how Hay's insecurities were adressed and the way Chris dealt with them.
