Oh my goodness. Why did I wait so long to pick up this series? 

I love CM Owens Wild Ones series, & I love the Dark Side series by her pen name Kristy Cumning- but I have been hesitant to read this series for years now. 

But I loved it. 

The Risk follows Lana, a girl who is out seeking revenge on all those who have left her for dead. The ones she is after never sees her coming until it's too late. And Logan, the guy she may be falling for- who also just happens to be an FBI agent. 

I love Lana. She may have went through hell when she was younger, but she's back stronger then ever & out seeking revenge on those who have wronged her. 

And I loved this book. I can't believe I have put off reading it for so long. They are short, quick reads but sooo good, and are perfect fall reads. It's the perfect combination of dark but fun.. And I cannot wait to read the next one to find out what happens next. 
5⭐ out of 5⭐.

It was interesting, I liked the premise. I don’t know, I was hoping it would be spicier. And honestly too much gore for me. That’s why I won’t be continuing the series.

This will serve as my review for the entire series, FYI.

ONE OF THE BOOKS THAT ONCE YOU PICK UP YOU'LL NEVER GET, I MEAN, NEVER WANT TO PUT DOWN. 

At first, I am very very hesitant to read it because of the cover but man, ay yayay

I cannot get over how amazingly written this book is. The author's ability to build suspense and keep me guessing until the very end is genuinely remarkable. 

 The story had me on the edge of my seat and so eager to know it all. It's such a gruesome, graphic read that I cried and cried because I felt so angry. I didn't know I could feel my heart stripped of sadness and rage all at once. 

This is one of the books I will never get tired of recommending.

Gahhhhhh. Girlie pick this book up. If you loved the cat and mouse duet. Your in for a treat An FBI agent in a relationship with a serial killer are you joking. He’s so oblivious and it fascinates me. Gah i love it 🥰

One of my all-time favorite series, I have read the entire series twice now and I’m currently on my second reread as of today. 

PSA: The covers for these books are SUPER misleading - this is not just some smut series or even really a series with a lot of explicit scenes. This series is more like… Criminal Minds meets Dexter, with a dash of background romance. The plot is excellent, the characters are well-developed, the pacing is perfect. There are very few things I could complain about unless I was intentionally being nit picky. 

If you’ve even THOUGHT about reading this series, just do it. All the books are super short on their own but honestly just read the first chapter of the first book and I think you’ll be hooked.
